Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic Tickets On Sale Monday

Tickets for the 2014 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic will go on sale Monday, Sept. 22 at 9 a.m. HST. The eight-team tournament will be held December 22, 23 & 25 at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu. Joining host Hawai'i in the 2014 field are Colorado, DePaul, George Washington, Loyola Marymount, Ohio, Nebraska and Wichita State. Five of the eight squads qualified for the postseason in 2013-14.
 
Fans can purchase individual game tickets or all-session packages online at www.eTicketHawaii.com and print them on their home computer.  Phone orders can be placed by calling (808) 523-3699 from Sept. 22 to Oct. 31 (Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)  Starting from Nov. 3 (Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.), the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office, Aloha Stadium Box Office and phone sales line (808) 944-2697 will be active. 
 
Owned and operated by ESPN Events, a subsidiary of ESPN, and hosted by the University of Hawai'i, all 12 games of this year's eight-team tournament will be televised across ESPN networks. It will amount to more than 25 hours of invaluable national exposure for both UH and the state's tourism industry.

The tournament tips off Monday, Dec. 22, with Ohio (Mid-American) pitted against George Washington (Atlantic 10) at 9:30 a.m. HT, immediately followed by DePaul (Big East) versus Colorado (Pac-12) at 11:30 a.m. The evening session will feature Loyola Marymount (West Coast) versus Wichita State (Missouri Valley) at 6:00 p.m., before the tournament wraps up with a battle between Nebraska (Big Ten) and tournament host Hawai'i (Big West) at 8 p.m.
