Rainbow Wahine Place Fifth At USF Intersectional

ST.  PETERSBURG, Fla. – The University of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine sailing team finished in fifth place at the University of South Florida Women's Intersectional held Feb. 15-16. The College of Charleston captured the regatta with 110 points and a comfortable 13-point cushion.

A total of 24 races—12 each in the A and B divisions—were completed in brisk, chilly conditions over the weekend. UH finished with 184 points and placed fifth in each division. Madeline Kennedy and Katrina Berry totaled 70 points in the A division while Cecilia Jansson and Louise Currie posted 114 points in the B division.

Next up for the Rainbow Wahine is the Navy Intersectional in Annapolis, Md., March 8-9.
