Men’s Basketball Faces BYU This Saturday

UH dominated Delaware State, 75-60, to kick of the week
The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team will make its second trip to the mainland this season, traveling to Salt Lake City, Utah to play BYU on Saturday, Dec. 6 at EnergySolutions Arena.

The 'Bows (7-2) are coming off a dominant 75-60 home win over Delaware State this past Tuesday. Aaron Valdes led a trio of Rainbow Warriors with double-figures in points. He poured in a team-high 19 points while Garrett Nevels added 15 and Negus Webster-Chan finished with 11 points.

Hawai'i ranks among the highest in the nation in a handful of statistical categories. For games played through Dec. 2, the 'Bows are 11th in the nation in three-point attempts (178) and are in the top 40 and second in the Big West in three-point field goals made (56).

Roderick Bobbitt continues to be UH's most versatile player. He leads the Big West with 5.60 apg and boasts a league-best 2.56 steals per game. Bobbitt is also just one of two players in the nation this year to have recorded a triple-double, accomplishing that feat against UH-Hilo (12 pts, 10 ast, 10 stl).

UH tips off against the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. MT (1:00 p.m. HT).
