The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team will make its second trip to the mainland this season, traveling to Salt Lake City, Utah to play BYU on Saturday, Dec. 6 at EnergySolutions Arena.
The 'Bows (7-2) are coming off a dominant 75-60 home win over Delaware State this past Tuesday.
Aaron Valdes led a trio of Rainbow Warriors with double-figures in points. He poured in a team-high 19 points while
Garrett Nevels added 15 and
Negus Webster-Chan finished with 11 points.
Hawai'i ranks among the highest in the nation in a handful of statistical categories. For games played through Dec. 2, the 'Bows are 11th in the nation in three-point attempts (178) and are in the top 40 and second in the Big West in three-point field goals made (56).
Roderick Bobbitt continues to be UH's most versatile player. He leads the Big West with 5.60 apg and boasts a league-best 2.56 steals per game. Bobbitt is also just one of two players in the nation this year to have recorded a triple-double, accomplishing that feat against UH-Hilo (12 pts, 10 ast, 10 stl).
