Round 2 ResultsKA'ANAPALI, Maui – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team moved into 10
th place following the second round of the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational Saturday at the Royal Ka'anapali Golf Course.
Competing as an individual, sophomore
Pono Tokioka shot 1-over 72 on Saturday for a 2-under 140 total, and a tie for seventh place after the first two rounds to lead all UH golfers.
Among those competing for the UH team, sophomore
Skye Inakoshi shot 2-over 73 and is even par 142 for the tournament, moving up to a tie for 16th. Both senior
Brian Lee and junior
Scotty Yamashita shot 6-over par 77 while senior
Ryan Kuroiwa and freshman
Adrian Lee posted 75 and 79, respectively.
Sophomore
Zachary Braunthal shot 1-over 72 and is 2-over 143 and in a tie for 20th while junior
Justin Chu (83) and freshman
Smart Kittirattanapaiboon (81) are also competing as individuals.
No. 2 Oregon continues to lead the tournament at 23-under 545 and are 21 strokes better than second place Georgia (566). Clemson and North Florida are tied for third (569), followed by Kansas (571), Gonzaga (579), and Loyola Marymount (580).
Oregon's Jonathan Woo shot 72 and lead the tournament at 6-under 135. He is one stroke clear of teammate Hurly Long and North Florida's MJ Maguire (136).
The tournament concludes on Sunday with the third and final round.
