Day 1 ResultsKAILUA-KONA, Hawai'i – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team is currently in 12
th place following the first two rounds of the Pac-12 Preview, Monday, at the prestigious Nanea Golf Club.
Sophomore
Izzy Leung was UH's top golfer, firing rounds of even par 73 and 2-over 75 for a 148 total which is tied for 15
th place. The Shatin, Hong Kong native posted five birdies in her first two rounds and is 11 strokes off the lead held by UCLA's Alison Lee (137).
Washington has an eight stroke lead over UCLA in the team standings. The Huskies shot 9-under 575 with four golfers in the Top 10 led by SooBin Kim, who is second at 6-under 140. UCLA is second (583) while Stanford (594) is a distant third.
Sophomore
Kelli-Anne Katsuda is tied for 50
th at 159 (79-80) while sophomore
Raquel Ek is two strokes back at 161 (81-80) for 55
th. Sophomore
Brianna Becker shot 162 (82-80) and is in 56
th place while freshman
Marie Donnici fired 80-84 for a 164 total and 58
th place.
The tournament concludes on Tuesday with the third and final round.
