VIDEO: Pre-Game Interviews With Select Coaches & PlayersHONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Warrior football team will look to stay in the Mountain West race by hosting Utah State, Saturday, Nov. 1. Kick-off is 5:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium.
The Rainbow Warriors (2-6, 1-2 MW) dropped their second MW contest in as many weeks after falling to Nevada 26-18 last week at Aloha Stadium. Still, UH is only one loss behind West Division leader San Diego State (4-3, 3-1) with five league games remaining.
USU (5-3, 2-1) is one win behind Mountain Division leaders Boise State (3-1) and Colorado State (3-1) and are coming off a 34-20 home victory over UNLV last week. The Aggies will start their fourth different quarterback this Saturday after losing their third signal caller for the season in last week's game.
The game will mark a homecoming of sorts for UH defensive coordinator
Kevin Clune, who was the Aggies' linebackers coach for five years prior to joining
Norm Chow's staff this season. As part of USU's staff last season, Clune helped the Aggies capture the MW's Mountain Division and appearances in both the inaugural MW Championship Game and Poinsettia Bowl.
