The 'Bows (8-1), who are riding a six-match win streak, will play South Dakota on Thursday, Sept. 19 (8:00 p.m. CT, 3:00 p.m. HT), Creighton on Friday, Sept. 20 (5:00 p.m. CT, 12:00 p.m. HT), and Wichita State on Saturday, Sept. 21 (7:30 p.m. CT, 2:30 p.m. HT).

UH will be playing its first preseason road contests since 2005 when the 'Bows traveled to Nebraska for the AVCA/NACWAA Volleyball Showcase. They dropped a pair of matches to Nebraska and Penn State in that tournament.

This past week, Hawai'i won its third tournament title of the season. The Rainbow Wahine dispatched Portland State and Northwestern in three sets before topping Arizona on Saturday night to capture the Outrigger Hotels and Resorts Volleyball Challenge. Setter Mita Uiato was voted the tournament's Most Outstanding Player and two days later was awarded the Big West's Player of the Week. Both honors were the first of her career.

The 'Bows are hitting a league-best .316 with middle Jade Vorster hitting at a .510 clip good for third in the nation. Kalei Adolpho ranks second in the Big West behind Vorster with a .422 percentage.
