HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine tennis team (3-7, 2-2 Big West) will travel through California for two conference and two non-conference matches before they return home. The Wahine will face Pacific (Apr. 3), UC Davis (Apr. 4), Sacramento State (Apr. 6), and No. 14 Stanford (Apr. 9).
The Pacific Tigers (6-10, 1-3 BWC) are on a five match losing streak coming into conference play against UH. The Tigers are 0-3 in their last three conference matchups.
The UC Davis Aggies (7-9, 2-2 BWC) are 1-2 in their last three conference matchups, including a loss against No. 28 UC Irvine. Melissa Kobayakawa is 11-4 in singles dual matches this season, playing on the No. 3 to No. 6 Courts.
The Sacramento State Hornets (9-11) are coming off of two straight wins against North Dakota at home last week. Rebecca Delgado is 8-2 in her last 10 matches and has a career record of 47-28.
The No. 14 Stanford Cardinal (11-3, 5-1 Pac-12) boast five nationally ranked singles players: No. 14 Krista Hardebeck, No. 20 Nicole Gibbs, No. 30 Kristie Ahn, No. 51 Ellen Tsay, and No. 93 Stacey Tan. In doubles, the Cardinal has two nationally ranked players, including: No. 14 Kristie Ahn / Nicole Gibbs and No. 80 Ellen Tsay / Stacey Tan. Against ranked opponents Stanford is 9-3 this season.
