HONOLULU - Emily Hartong had 15 kills, Kalei Adolpho put down a match-high four blocks, and the No. 12 University of Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine volleyball team kept its Big West title hopes alive with a sweep of UC Davis on Friday night at the Stan Sheriff Center. Set scores were 25-19, 25-17, 25-19.

Sarah Mendoza had a match-high 12 digs, just one off her career high she set at UC Santa Barbara two weeks ago, and Tai Manu-Olevao hit a solid .400 (7-1-15) to lead a solid offensive performance for the 'Bows (21-4, 10-3 BWC). UH hit .330 compared to the Aggies' .173 clip.

UH entered the night one game back in the loss column behind UCSB and Saturday's opponent Cal State Northridge. The win keeps the 'Bows in the hunt for their 19th straight conference title.

Devon Damelio led the way for the Aggies (13-15, 6-9 BWC) with 13 kills and six digs. Megan Lancaster and Lindsay Dowd shared team-high honors in digs, each with seven.

In the opening set, the 'Bows used an early 4-0 run to open up an 11-6 lead. The lead swelled to 20-13 off kills by Hartong and Adolpho, but three straight kills by Damelio late in the set staved off a trio of UH set points. The flurry proved not to be enough to stop a dominant first set win by the 'Bows.

UH was unable to shake the Aggies in set two. An Ali Longo service ace helped push the lead to 14-10, but after a Damelio kill and a Lancaster ace the UH lead was cut to two points. That would be as close as UC Davis would get, as the 'Bows closed the set on a 10-4 run to win easily.

Hawai'i never trailed in set three and finished its quick work of the Aggies.

The 'Bows will play their regular season home finale Saturday night when they host Cal State Northridge at 7:00 p.m. Following the match, Hawai'i will honor its seven seniors in its annual Senior Night ceremony.
