SIMI VALLEY, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team completed the first two rounds of the Bill Cullum Invitational Tuesday morning after Round 2 was delayed on Monday due to darkness.
The Rainbow Warriors shot a score of 590 after the first two rounds (294-296) and are currently tied for 13
th place heading into the final round of the tournament. Leading the Warriors is freshman
Skye Inakoshi, who is currently tied for sixth place after shooting 4-under 140 with consecutive rounds of 70. The Honolulu natvie is only three strokes behind the tournament leader John Rahm of Arizona State, who shot 67 and 70.
San Diego (557) has a six stroke lead over Arizona State (563) in the team standings while Cal State Fullerton is also under par at 568.
Also competing for the Warriors are senior
Nainoa Calip (74-73=147/T40), juniors
Ryan Kuroiwa (75-76=151/T62) and
Brian Lee (76-77=153/T73) and sophomore
Scotty Yamashita (75-80=155/ T83).
