SIMI VALLEY, Calif. – University of Hawai'i freshman
Skye Inakoshi tied for sixth and the Rainbow Warriors finished ninth at the Bill Cullum Invitational Tuesday at the Wood Ranch Golf Club.
Competing in just his third collegiate tournament, the Honolulu native shot a final round 1-under 71 to finish 5-under 211 for the tournament. Inakoshi finished five strokes behind tournament winner Daniel Chian of Long Beach State.
Cal State Fullerton made up 11 strokes to edge first day leader San Diego by one stroke to capture the team title. UH's final round 287 was the second best score of the day behind CSUF's 281 as both were the only teams to shoot under par.

Nainoa Calip tied for 32
nd at 3-over 219 following a final round even par 72. Junior
Brian Lee shot the best round of the day for the Rainbow Warriors at 2-under 70 to finish at 7-over 223 for a tie for 50
th.
Also competing for the Rainbow Warriors were sophomore
Scotty Yamashita (75-80-74=229/t69th) and junior
Ryan Kuroiwa (75-76-82=233/t85th).
UH will next host the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational Nov. 4-6 in Princeville, Kaua'i.
