Final Results
CORVALLIS, Ore.- The University of Hawai'i women's golf team completed the Oregon State Invitational with a 14
th place finish, Tuesday at Trysting Tree Golf Club.
The Rainbow Wahine shot a final round 317 for a 937 total (311-309-317). Washington captured the tournament title with a final score of 853, 25 strokes better than second place Washington State. Gonzaga finished third at 891.
Individually, Washington's Charlotte Thomas won the tournament title finishing with a 5-under par 211 after a final round score of 69.
UH's top individual finisher was senior Ka'ili Britos who shot a final round 80 for a 227 total (71-76-80) and tie for 25
th place. Freshman
Nichole Cruz shot a final round 78 for a total score of 235 and a tie for 55
th place. Junior
Liana Otake finished one stroke behind Cruz with a total of 236 after shooting a 79 on the last round; she would finish in 60
th place.
Also competing for UH were junior Charlee Kapiioho (84-75-80=239/ T70th) and sophomore
Kaylee Koeppen (86-89-81=256/ T87th).
The tournament was the first of the season for the Rainbow Wahine, who will next compete in the Eden Ihlanfeldt Invitational, Oct. 8-10 in Sammamish, Wash.
