The University of Hawai'i's season-opener against USC, Saturday, Sept. 1 will be televised nationally on FOX. The game will kick-off at 4:30 p.m. PT at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
The game will mark UH head coach
Norm Chow's debut for the Warriors and a homecoming of sorts as he was offensive coordinator for the Trojans from 2001-04.
The game is also Hawai'i's sixth on national television this season and second all-time on the FOX network. UH appeared on the network during the 2008 Allstate Sugar Bowl against Georgia.
Half of the teams' 12-game schedule will air on national television this season, which will set a school record for most national appearances in a regular season. UH appeared on national television six times in 2007, which included the Sugar Bowl.
As previously announced, UH will appear twice on the ESPN family of networks (vs. BYU on ESPN and vs. Air Force on ESPN2), twice on NBC Sports Network (Nevada and Boise State) and once on CBS Sports Network (San Diego State).
