Final Results
SAN JOSE, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team concluded play at the Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational Tuesday, at the Almaden Golf and Country Club.
The Rainbow Wahine shot a third round 335 and finished in 12th place at 984. California won took the team title with a total score of 879 while Cal's Joanne Lee held off teammate Daniela Holmqvist by one stroke to take the individual title at 2-under 214.
The top finisher for UH was junior Ka'ili Britos. The Honolulu native shot a final round 6-over 78 and finished in a tie for 29th place at 235 (78-79-78).
Also competing for Hawai'i were sophomores Charlee Kapiioho (76-82-85=243/t50th),
Anna DePalma (81-88-88=257/62nd),junior
Brigitte Baker (90-83-84=257/t62nd), and sophomore
Liana Otake (88-82-88=258/65th).
The Rainbow Wahine will tee it up again next week as they host the 27th Annual Dr. Donnis Thompson Classic at the Kane'ohe Klipper Course in Kane'ohe, O'ahu.
