Game Notes
HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team (13-10, 5-4 WAC) continues it three-game homestand with a Western Athletic Conference contest versus Fresno State (11-15, 3-7 WAC) on Saturday, Feb. 11. The game is set for 7:00 p.m. and will be the second game of a doubleheader with the women's basketball team.
The Rainbow Warriors look to rebound from a disheartening 88-79 loss to conference leader Nevada on Thursday night. UH had an opportunity to move into a tie for second place in the WAC and to inch closer to the first-place Wolf Pack with a win, but instead suffered its second loss in its last three home contests. Nevada dominated the glass against UH, out-rebounding the 'Bows, 46-27, including 20-9 on offensive boards.
UH, which had won three of its last four games entering the Nevada contest, now looks to get back in the win column against a Fresno State squad that suffered a 79-71 double-overtime loss at San Jose State on Thursday. The Rainbow Warriors defeated the Bulldogs, 74-68, in an overtime affair of their own in the first meeting between the teams in Fresno on Jan. 12.
