Women’s Golf Finishes Second Round Of Play at Edean Ihlanfeldt Invite

Round 2 Results

SAMMAMISH, Wash.- The University of Hawai'i women's golf team completed the second round of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, Tuesday at Sahalee Country Club.

Through two rounds of play the Rainbow Wahine are currently in 16th place with a score of 663 (328-335) heading in to the final round on Wednesday.

Senior Ka'ili Britos lead the Rainbow Wahine with a second round score of 83 to add to her 75 from Monday. Britos currently sits in a tie for 40th place with a 14-over par 158.

Host Washington continued it's stronghold on the lead with a second round 293, putting them at 586, 10-over par going into the third and final round of play on Wednesday.

UW's SooBin Kim shot a 5-under 67 to claim the lead on the individual leader board. Kim has a 138 total through two rounds and sits six strokes ahead of two teammates (Cyd Okino and Charlotte Thomas) and Oregon State's Seshia Lei Telles.

Also competing for UH were freshman Nichole Cruz (80-87=167/70th), junior Liana Otake (87-83=170/T72nd), senior Megan Inouye (86-84=170/T72nd) and junior Charlee Kapiioho (89-85=174/T79th).

The final round of play will conclude on Wednesday with an 8:00 a.m. PT shotgun start.
