SIMI VALLEY, Calif.- The University of Hawai'i men's golf team completed the second rounds of the Bill Cullum Invitational Tuesday morning after play was suspended due to darkness on Monday at the Wood Ranch Golf Club.
 
The Warriors shot a score of 611 after the first two rounds (302-309). They are currently in 17
th place going into the final round of the tournament.
 
The University of San Diego has a commanding 9-stroke lead over second place Washington State in the team standings. On the individual leaderboard, Arizona State's John Rahm Rodriguez holds a slim 2-stroke lead over San Diego's Grant Forrest going into the final round of play.
 
Leading the Warriors is senior 
Cory Oride who currently sits in a tie for 27
th place after shooting a 3-over par 147 (72-75) in the first two rounds. In his first round, Oride posted only one bogey, staying at even par for most of the round.
 
Also competing for the Warriors are junior 
Nainoa Calip (73-78=151/T41) and sophomores 
Ryan Kuroiwa (77-77=154/ T63) and 
Reo Saito (80-79=159/ T93). Also making his Warriors debut is freshman 
Justin Chu (81-80=161/ T100).
 
The Bill Cullum Invitational will conclude with the third round of play this afternoon.
