Rainbow Wahine Golf Finish 10th At Rose City Collegiate

Final Results

AURORA, Ore. – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team concluded the Rose City Collegiate, Tuesday, with a total final round score of 314, and finished 10th in overall team score (311-321-314=946).

Sophomore Charlee Kapiioho rebounded after her second round 91, with a career-best 3-over par, 75 during the final round. She finished the tournament tied for 53rd place (79-91-75=245).  Ka'ili Britos was the team's top individual performer for the tournament, finishing tied for 22nd place (74-81-77=232).

Also competing for the Rainbow Wahine were senior Erika Lundberg (77-78-81=236/t28), sophomore Madeleine Ystrom (81-80-81=242/t44), and junior Brigitte Baker (82-82-94=258/t74).

Long Beach State held on to their first round lead to take the overall team title with a final score of 900 (298-299-303).  LBSU's Rochelle Chan took the individual title with a final score of 4-over par (66-76-78)

Hawai'i will compete again in two weeks at the Price's Give 'Em Five Invitational in Las Cruces, N.M.
