Rainbow Wahine Golf Tied For Ninth At Rose City Collegiate

Day 1 Results

AURORA, Ore. – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team is currently tied for ninth place at the Rose City Collegiate, following Monday's first two rounds of play. Hawai'i started the day with a first round 311, and finished the day with a second round 321 as the wind picked up in the afternoon.

Ka'ili Britos (74-81) and Erika Lundberg (77-78) are the low-scorers for the Rainbow Wahine, and are both tied for 21st place at 11-over par. Also competing for Hawai'i are Madeleine Ystrom (81-80/t42), Brigitte Baker (82-82/t52), and Charlee Kapiioho (79-91/t69).

Long Beach State leads the tournament at 21-over par (288-299=597). LBSU's Rochelle Chan ended the day as the top individual, shooting 2-under par (66-76=142), which included a first round 6-under 66.

The tournament concludes Tuesday with the third and final round.
