HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i baseball team (21-15) takes a break from Western Athletic Conference play to host Valparaiso University in a three-game series. The teams will play Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 6:35 p.m.
Kolten Wong leads the Rainbows and is fourth in the WAC with a .383 batting average. He also has six doubles, one triple, and is tied for second in the conference with five homeruns. Junior
Matt Sisto (3-4) has come on as the No.1 starter, currently boasting a 2.10 ERA good for second in the WAC. He also has a team-best 42 strikeouts. Freshman
Jarrett Arakawa was the No.2 starter last week versus Louisiana Tech, allowing just one run on four hits in UH's 10-2 win.

Ticket Information: Individual game tickets are $8 in the lower and mid levels. Adult tickets in the upper level are $6, with senior citizens for $5 and student tickets in the upper level for $3. In addition to purchasing tickets online at HawaiiAthletics.com, fans can visit the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., or call 944-2697 during the same hours. In order to ease game-day ticket lines at baseball and make online ticket purchases more affordable, UH has reduced the fee for individual-game, online ticket purchases to $1 per ticket through
HawaiiAthletics.com. Previously, the per-ticket charge was $2. The fee for "Print at Home" tickets is $1 per order and the "Will Call" charge is $2 per order. Large crowds are expected, so fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance.
Promotions: UH season-ticket holders
in all UH sports will receive 50% off adult tickets (maximum of four) to all three games of the Valparaiso series. A valid identification card is required when purchasing tickets at the Stan Sheriff Center or Les Murakami Stadium Box Offices. Tickets are in special sections and supplies are limited. Other restrictions may apply. The team will also be available for photos and autographs after Friday's game, as they will for all Friday home games. Fans can proceed to the field via the stairs located at the lower level of Section JJ on the first-base side of the field. The players will be available on the field for 30 minutes for “Autograph Friday”. Fans are encouraged to bring items for the players to sign.
