SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team concluded the first round of the 65^th Western Intercollegiate but was unable to complete the second round due to inclement weather at the Pasatiempo Golf Club.

 

The Warriors opened with a 393 for 15^th place. The second round will conclude Sunday morning before the start of the third and final round.

 

Junior T.J. Kua led Hawai'i with a 6-over 76 followed by Henry Park (78), Cory Oride (79), Nainoa Calip (80) and Kamden Brakel (80), and David Saka (85).

 

UCLA (347) holds a seven shot lead over San Diego State (354) and California (354). Individually, California's Jeff Hamm and UCLA's Pontus Widegren each shot 5-under 65.
