FRESNO, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team sits in 15
th place following the first two rounds of the Fresno State Lexus Classic Monday at Sunnyside Country Club.
The Warriors posted scores of 387 and 388 on the first day of competition, which featured 36 holes. The tournament concludes on Tuesday with the final 18 holes.
San Diego State is the Day 1 leader at 721 (366-355) while Pacific's Alex Johnson has the individual lead with a 7-under 137 total, that featured a second round 66.
For Hawai'i, junior
T.J. Kua fired rounds of 75 and 76 for a 151 total, 7-over par. One stroke behind is freshman
Nainoa Calip who put together rounds of 78 and 74, the latter featured an eagle on par-5 fifth hole.
