Women’s Golf Tied For 10th At Anteater Invitational

Day 1 Results

DOVE CANYON, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team is tied for 10th after the first two rounds of the Anteater Invitational, Monday, at the Dove Canyon Country Club.
 
For the Rainbow Wahine, sophomore Ka'ili Britos is tied for 28th overall with a two-round score of 157 (80-77). Three strokes back is sophomore Brigitte Baker, who shot rounds of 81 and 79 for a 160 total. Also competing are freshman Anna DePalma (79-82=161) and senior Brittany Bomar (82-81=163).
 
Long Beach State leads the team standings at 592 followed closely by Portland State (594), UC Irvine (606) and Nevada (606). The Rainbow Wahine fired rounds of 322 and 319 for a 641 total.
 
Individually, Portland State's Lauren Taylor leads the field heading into the final round after shooting 1-over 143 (71-72). LBSU's Reina Rogers is two strokes back at 145.
 
The tournament concludes on Tuesday with the final round.
