Day 1 Results
KANE'OHE, O'ahu – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team is in seventh place after the first two rounds of the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, Monday at the Kane'ohe Klipper Golf Course at Marine Corps Base Hawai'i.
Five ranked team are ahead of the Rainbow Wahine, which shot round of 302 and 314 for a 616 total, including leader No. 10 Arizona State at 586. ASU's Carlota Ciganda, the 10th ranked individual, holds a one-shot lead with a 2-under 142 over Arizona's Alejandra Llaneza. ASU has a five-stroke lead in the team standings over No. 21 Notre Dame.
At the conclusion of the first round, UH stood in fifth place just four strokes out of second. Senior
Brittany Bomar was in a tie for third after starting her first eight holes at 3-under, following an eagle on the par 4 fifth and a birdie on the par 4 ninth. She gave all three strokes back with bogeys at Nos. 11-13 before a birdie at No. 17 to finish the round at even-par 72.

Erika Lundberg leads the Rainbow Wahine with an 8-over 152 and are among 10 golfers tied for 16
th place, including defending champion Louisa Lies of Fresno State. Bomar followed her UH career-low 72 with an 80 in Round 2 while Lundberg shot consecutive 76.
Sophomore Ka'ili Britos is three strokes back in a tie for 41
st at 11-over 155 (77-78) followed by sophomore
Brigitte Baker at 13-over 158 (77-80) and
Anna DePalma at 23-over 167 (83-84).
The tournament concludes on Tuesday with the final 18 holes.
