SAN JOSE, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i men's basketball team (17-10, 7-7 WAC) heads down the home stretch of the Western Athletic Conference regular season with a pair of road games in California this week. First up for the Rainbow Warriors is a match-up against San Jose State on Thursday March 3 at 7:30 p.m. PT (5:30 p.m. HT).
The Rainbow Warriors have won four straight games and eight of its last 10 to move up into a tie for fifth place in the WAC standings. With just one week remaining, the 'Bows can finish anywhere between second and sixth place. UH is coming off an emotional 76-70 home win over New Mexico State on Saturday night in the final Stan Sheriff appearance for seniors

Hiram Thompson.
Zane Johnson led the way with 22 points, while both Amis (14 points, 11 rebounds) and
Vander Joaquim (18 points, 15 rebounds, five blocks) put together double-double performances.
San Jose State is on a winning streak of its own (15-12, 5-9 WAC) having won a season-high four straight games—the team's longest win streak in eight years. It will be the final home game of the season for the Spartans, who fell to UH, 67-61, in Honolulu on Jan. 22.
Following its game against San Jose State, the Rainbow Warriors will play its WAC regular season finale at Fresno State on Saturday, March 5.
