HONOLULU – University of Hawai'i baseball individual tickets for the 2011 season are now on sale.
Tickets are $8 in the lower and mid levels. Upper level adult tickets are $6, with senior citizens (ages 65 +) $5 and students (ages 4 - high school) $3. UH Manoa Students receive admission by showing their spring 2011 validated UH Manoa identification cards.
UH is anticipating large crowds for the season-opening series against Oregon, so fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance. In addition to purchasing tickets online at HawaiiAthletics.com, fans can visit the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., or call 944-2697 during the same hours.
Several fan promotions and ticket discounts are available this season, so fans are encouraged to check the weekly H-Mail e-newsletter or visit HawaiiAthletics.com and click on the “Fan Promotions & Ticket Discounts” button.
The Rainbows return to the field as the defending Western Athletic Conference Tournament champions and ranked in Collegiate Baseball Magazine's Preseason Top 40 Poll. Last season, UH advanced to the championship game of the NCAA Tempe Regional before falling to top-ranked Arizona State.
This season features 39 home games at Les Murakami Baseball Stadium which includes three doubleheaders. The season begins on Friday, February 18, versus 9th-ranked Oregon with the regular season finale on Sunday, May 15. The 'Bows will also play Top 25 opponents Texas (Feb. 25-27), Cal State Fullerton (Mar. 25-27), and Wichita State (Mar. 30-Apr. 2). UH will also host its annual alumni game on Saturday, Feb 12, at 1:00 p.m.
