SAN JOSE, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team is in 12
th place after the first two rounds of the Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational at the Almaden Golf and Country Club.
The Rainbow Wahine posted rounds of 320 and 323 on Monday. Leading the way was junior
Erika Lundberg who fired rounds of 81 and 77 and is tied for 38
th with a 14-over par 158. One shot back is freshman
Anna DePalma, who shot 77 and 82.
Also competing for UH are sophomore
Brigitte Baker (77-84=161), sophomore Kaili Britos (86-82=168) and freshman Charlee Kapiioho (88-82=170).
Leading the 12-team field is No. 9 California at 588 (297-291) while the Golden Bears' Emily Childs and Joanne Lee are a top the individual standings at 143 (1-under) and 144 (even), respectively.
The tournament concludes on Tuesday with the final rouind.
