Day 1 Results

PALM DESERT, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team is tied for 15^th place after the first day of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate at the Classic Club. The tournament was slated for 36 holes on Saturday, however, darkness suspended Round 2 play.

 

The Warriors are tied with New Mexico for 15^th place after firing a first round 310. Freshman Nainoa Calip is tied for 19^th with a 2-over 74. Two shots back is freshman Tommy Yamashita (76).

 

Junior T.J. Kua is tied for 43^rd after shooting a 5-over 77 while sophomore Henry Park shot an 83. Senior Kamden Brakel was disqualified.

 

The tournament concludes on Sunday with the completion of Round 2 and the final 18 holes to follow.
