FULLERTON, Calif. – At Titan Gymnasium, the  No. 3 University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team defeated Cal State Fullerton in four sets, 14-25, 25-16, 25-17, 25-9. The Rainbow Wahine close their regular season at 29-1 with CSUF ending its season at 13-16.
 
With the regular season now complete, the 'Bows await their seeding in the NCAA Tournament and a potential of hosting rounds one and two.
 
The win comes just two days after the 'Bows swept New Mexico State to win their 11^th WAC Tournament title. Kanani Danielson finished with a match-high 20 kills to go along with 14 digs. Emily Maeda posted a match-high 19 digs and Jane Croson added 13 kills and 14 digs.
 
Kayla Neto led the Titans with 12 kills, and Gabrielle Dewberry added a team-high 16 digs.
 
UH was sluggish to start the match, but found its form to win the final three sets handily. In set two, the 'Bows led 11-9 before going on a 9-2 run. Brittany Hewitt recorded a pair of kills and a block in the run, finishing the match with nine kills and three blocks.
 
CSUF led 12-9 in set three but UH responded with six straight points to take the lead. A Jennifer Edmond (10 kills, 5 digs) kill brought the Titans to within 16-14, but the 'Bows took control from that point on. Hawai'i sealed the match with a convincing set four win, scoring the set's final 10 points for the 25-9 victory.
