Men’s Basketball Looks To Bounce Back Versus Pacific

Game Notes

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Warrior basketball hosts its second straight home game when it faces Pacific on Friday, Nov. 25. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center and will follow the women's contests versus California at 5:00 p.m.

UH (1-2) looks to rebound from a disappointing 89-72 home loss to Eastern Washington on Tuesday night. It was a rare non-conference home setback for the Rainbow Warriors, who surrendered 56 second-half points in the loss the Eagles. Senior guard Zane Johnson led UH with 14 points in the loss.

Pacific enters the game with a 2-1 mark, including a 74-68 home win over Cal State Dominguez on Monday. UOP dropped their only other road game this year at Nevada (78-54).

This will be the first of two meetings this year between the future Big West rivals.  The in-season, home-and-home series will continue in Stockton, Calif., on Dec. 6.
