Men’s Basketball Hosts Eastern Washington on Tuesday

Game Notes

HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Warrior basketball returns home to host a pair of home games, beginning with a contest against Eastern Washington on Tuesday, Nov. 22. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center.  
 
UH enters the game at 1-1 with an 86-67 season-opening win over Cal State Northridge last Monday, followed by a 73-54 loss to No. 22 Gonzaga in the BC Basketball Classic Saturday in Vancouver, British Columbia. Shaquille Stokes led UH with 17 points in the loss to Gonzaga, while Zane Johnson added 12. The Rainbow Warriors trailed by just one point midway through the second half before the Bulldogs eventually pulled away.
 
Eastern Washington (1-2) also gave Gonzaga a test, leading with five minutes remaining, before falling 77-69 in the season opener for both teams. This is the Eagles' third time on the road in four games.  
 
Following its game against Eastern Washington, the 'Bows will host Pacific out of the Big West Conference on Friday, Nov. 25 at 7:30 p.m.

Coaches: Gib Arnold is in his second year at UH (20-14). Jim Hayford is in his first season at Eastern Washington (1-2).
