Final Results

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team was forced to withdraw from the Price's Give 'Em Five Invitational Wednesday due to an illness and injury. Senior Erika Lundberg became ill after round one and wasn't able to compete in the second and third rounds of the tournament. Sophomore Liana Otake was also forced to withdraw from the tournament after injuring her wrist on the 14th hole.

The bright spot for the Rainbow Wahine was junior Ka'ili Britos who rebounded from a second round 83, to shoot in the 60s for the first time this season. Britos' third round 3-under par, 69 tied a career-low and put her in a tie for 43rd place (76-83-69=228) for the tournament.

Also tying a career-low for UH was sophomore Charlee Kapiioho, who finished the day with a 3-over par, 75. Kapiioho also shot the best tournament score of her career finishing at 14-over par (75-80-75=230) and finished the tournament tied for 49th place.

Sophomore Madeleine Ystrom was the only other player to complete round three for Hawai'i. Ystrom shot 6-over par for the day and finished the tournament in 55th place (81-73-78=232).
