Round 1 Results

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team is currently in 13th place at the Price's Give 'Em Five Invitational through one round of play, Monday. The Rainbow Wahine finished the day with a team score of 311.
 
Sophomore Charlee Kapiioho had the best round of the day for UH shooting a career-low 3-over par, 75. She is tied for 27th place. Junior Ka'ili Britos finished right behind Kapiioho with a first round 4-over 76, which is tied for 37th.
 
Also competing for the Rainbow Wahine are senior Erika Lundberg (79, t64th), and sophomores Madeleine Ystrom (81, t71st) and Liana Otake (83, t84th).
 
Long Beach State (287) currently holds a one stroke lead over Baylor in team competition. BU's Chelsey Cothran and Idaho's Teo Poplawski are tied for the individual lead at 3-under par.
 
The tournament continues on Tuesday with the second round, and concludes on Wednesday with the third and final round.
