HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team hosts its final tournament during the non-conference schedule beginning Thursday, Sept. 10. The sixth-ranked Rainbow Wahine open the Honolulu Advertiser Volleyball Challenge against Weber State at 7 p.m., with No. 10 Stanford facing UT-San Antonio in the opening match of the tournament Thursday at 5 p.m.
UH will take on UT-San Antonio Friday night at 7 p.m., with Stanford facing Weber State at 5 p.m. The conclusion of the tournament features No. 6 UH facing No. 10 Stanford at 7 p.m. on Saturday night. Weber State and UT-San Antonio square off at 5 p.m.

Radio Coverage
ESPN 1420 (1420 AM) will broadcast the UH matches this week, live with Scott Robbs handling the play-by-play. The matches can also be heard over the Internet on espn1420am.com.

Television Coverage
All three of UH matches will be carried live statewide on KFVE – The Home Team (Channell 5) with Jim Leahey handling the play-by-play duties and Chris McLachlin providing color commentary.
Ticket Information
Tickets for the tournament are $17 in the lower level, $12 for adults (upper), $10 for senior citizens (upper), $5 for students ages 4-18 (upper). Tickets can be purchased at Stan Sheriff Center Box Office, the UH Campus Center, Rainbowtique Ward Center, the Aloha Stadium Box Office or OCET at Windward Community College, online at hawaiiathletics.com or by phone at (808) 944-2697.
Tournament Promotions
The Honolulu Advertiser, the title sponsor, will award an iPod Shuffle to the winner of each night's promotional contest between games 2 and 3. The runner-ups will receive Papa John's Pizza Hawaii gift cards. Fans can register to compete at the sports marketing table inside Gate A prior to the matches.
