Day 1 Results

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team is currently in tenth place after two rounds of the Giustina Memorial Classic. The Warriors shot rounds of 301 and 306 for a 607 total, Monday, at the Trysting Tree Golf Club.

 

Sophomore Jared Sawada leads UH at six-over par (72-78=150) and is currently tied for 30^th place. Two shots behind Sawada is sophomore #T.J. Kua# who sits in a tie for 34^th (80-72=152).

 

Also competing for the Warriors are junior Kamden Brakel (74-79=153/T38th), freshman Cory Oride (76-79=155/T43rd), and freshman Henry Park (79-77=156/45th).

 

At the top of the team standings is Washington State at 15-under par (277-284=561), with its own Trent Sanders leading individually at eight-under par (68-68=136).

 

The tournament concludes tomorrow, Tuesday, with the third and final round.
