HONOLULU – Dozens of current or former University of Hawai'i student-athletes were among the 1,500 graduates at the Spring Commencement Exercises Saturday, May 16 at the Stan Sheriff Center.

 

A total of 61 student-athletes were among the Class of 2009. The football team has the most graduates with 10 followed by baseball (8), track and field (7), sailing (6), cheerleading (5), swimming and diving (4), men's volleyball (4), men's basketball (3), men's golf (3), soccer (3) women's golf (2), softball (2), women's volleyball (2), women's basketball (1), and water polo (1).

 

During the Mid-Year Commencement in December, a total of 32 former UH student-athletes earned their degrees, including 18 football players.

 

The following is a list of student-athletes who will graduate either this semester or during the summer. Those graduating during the summer are participating in the Spring Commencement.
