HONOLULU - The University of Hawai`i women's tennis team moved its win streak to four matches with a 7-0 shutout of Wyoming Wednesday at the UH Tennis Complex. The Rainbow Wahine improved to 6-5 on the season.
The Rainbow Wahine picked up the doubles point and won all singles matches to complete the sweep. Wyoming entered the match short-handed, playing with five players. The Cowgirls (5-6) surrendered the No. 6 singles position and No. 3 doubles position. UH subsequently picked up the doubles point with an 8-3 win by the duo of
Anja-Vanessa Peter and
Sophie Kobuch over Sarah Summerfield and Carly Van Hollen at the No. 1 court.
After sitting out UH's last match versus Chaminade, Sophie Kuboch returned to action with the doubles win and 7-5, 6-3 victory over Sarah Summerfield at the No. 1 position in singles. UH was impressive in singles play, not dropping a single set. Kuboch, Peter,

The Rainbow Wahine will next host Washington State of the Pac 10 on Thursday, March 19 at the UH Tennis Complex. First serve is set for 4:00 p.m.
