HONOLULU - The University of Hawai`i women's tennis team picked up its third straight win with a 6-1 victory over Chaminade Monday morning at the UH Tennis Complex. The Rainbow Wahine improved to 5-5 on the season
In singles play, UH-Manoa won five of six matches. The Rainbow Wahine victories were in commanding fashion as not a single Chaminade player was able to take more than two games in a set. Nafarrete had the most dominating performance winning 6-0, 6-0 over Stacey Chaussoy at the No. 4 position. Chaminade's lone win came at the No. 5 court where Silkie Kahakui out-lasted Ito, 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (4).
The Rainbow Wahine will next host Wyoming of the Mountain West Conference on Wednesday, March 18 at the UH Tennis Complex. First serve is set for 4:00 p.m.
