Game Notes
HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Warrior basketball team concludes a season-opening five-game homestand with a non-conference contest versus New Mexico on Friday, Nov. 27. Tip-off is set for 8:05 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center.
The meeting with New Mexico, a former member of the Western Athletic Conference, will be UH's second straight contest against a Mountain West Conference foe. The 'Bows are looking to get back on the winning track after dropping its last two games, including a 83-65 loss to MWC preseason favorite Brigham Young last Friday. UH, led by senior wing
Roderick Flemings (15.3 ppg), will face an equally tough Lobo squad that comes to Honolulu with a perfect 5-0 record and an average margin of victory of 20.8 points per game.
The game will be part of a double-header with the UH women's basketball team, which makes its home debut on Friday. Fans with a ticket to the UH men's basketball game will receive free admission to the women's game against Arizona State at 5:05 p.m. The arena will not be cleared between the two games, so fans attending the women's game will be invited to stay for the men's game but will be asked to move to unoccupied seats in the upper level.
