Game Notes
HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Warrior basketball team continues round-robin play in the Outrigger Hotels Rainbow Classic with a matchup against McNeese State on Sunday, Nov. 15. Tipoff is set for 5:05 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center.
UH is coming off a 65-48 season-opening win over Southern Utah on Friday night. Senior wing
Roderick Flemings started the year with a bang, recording 23 points and 12 rebounds for his sixth career double-double. UH led for virtually the entire game and after relinquishing its lead briefly in the second half, stormed past the Thunderbirds in the final 10 minutes to seal the victory. It was UH's first season-opening win since the 2005-06 campaign.
Meanwhile, McNeese State looks to rebound following a 101-73 loss to Northern Colorado in the opening game of the tournament. The Cowboys trailed by just seven points at halftime, but were blitzed by the Bears in the second half en route to a 28-point loss.
Prior to the UH-McNeese State contest, Northern Colorado will play Southern Utah at 2:30 p.m.
