HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i men's and women's swimming and diving teams kick off their season this Friday in Northern California with the WAC Shootout and head-to-head meets against California and Stanford.

 

The men's team will swim against California on Friday and against Stanford on Saturday while the women will compete in the WAC Shootout hosted by San Jose State on Friday and Saturday.

 

On the first day of the shootout, the Rainbow Wahine will be scored against Boise State and New Mexico State. The team will continue the meet on Saturday and be scored against Nevada, San Jose State, and Fresno State.

 

The WAC Shootout will begin at 4:00 p.m. PT on Friday and continue on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. PT.

 

The UH men's team is scheduled face California at 1:00 p.m. PT on Friday and Stanford on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. PT.

 

Last season the Rainbow Warriors finished second in Conference USA, while the Rainbow Wahine finished fifth at the WAC Championships.
