Round 1 Results

ERIE, Colo. – University of Hawai'i women's golfer Brigitte Baker sits in a three-way tie for fourth place after Round 1 of the Heather Farr/CU Memorial, Monday, at the Colorado National Golf Club. Baker, a freshman from Jacksonville, Fla., fired a one-under par (71) to remain just one shot back of the leading individuals.

The Rainbow Wahine are currently in ninth place, carding a 305. Contributing to this score along with Baker were senior Corie Hou (77/T40th), sophomore Erika Lundberg (77/T40th), freshman Ka'ili Britos (80/T73rd), and junior Brittany Bomar (82/T89th).

Southern Methodist leads the 20-team field at one-under par (287), while in the individual standings, there is a three-way tie for first. Michelle Edlin of Minnesota, Alex Gibson of Texas Tech, and Tanya Wadhwa of Southern Methodist all shot a two-under, 72.

Two rounds were scheduled to be played on Monday, but worsening weather conditions forced the golfers of the course in the middle of second round. The remainder of Round 2 will be completed on Tuesday, immediately followed by the third and final round.
