Rainbow Wahine Finish Play at ITA Southwest Regional

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Rainbow Wahine finished tournament play today at the Wilson/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Southwest Regional Championships at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego.
 
The Rainbow Wahine finished play today in the consolation brackets of both the singles and doubles draws. UH sophomore Alyssa Nafarrete and freshman Mari Tadaki were defeated in their singles matches and doubles match today.
 
Nafarette finished the tournament with a lost to Emma Cioffi of San Diego State by a score of 2-6,6-2, 1-0(4). She ended with a record of (2-2) in singles play, which included a loss to Kelsy McKenna, ranked No.7 by the ITA Women's Tennis Rankings.
 
Tadaki finished her tournament play with a lost to Bryanna Ojeda from UCSB by a score of 6-4, 7-5. Tadaki ended with a (0-3) recorded in singles play.
 
In doubles action, the team of Nafarrete and Tadaki lost their match today to Christi Andrews and Leyla Entehabi from USC in the quarter finals of the consolationbracket, 8-4. The duo finished with a (1-2) doubles record. 

Up next for the Rainbow Wahine is a mock dual match against Stanford, Nov. 24, on the Big Island.
