Rainbow Wahine Remain In 15th At Stanford Intercollegiate

 
PALO ALTO, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team is in 15th place after the second round of the Stanford Intercollegiate, Saturday, at the Stanford Golf Course. The Rainbow Wahine have carded rounds of 324 and 319 for a 643 total.
 
Currently leading UH is senior Corie Hou who fired a second-round 74 for a 156 total. Hou moved up nine places from the first round to tie for 68th place.
 
Also competing for the Rainbow Wahine are junior Brittany Bomar (78-81=159) in 75th, senior Erin Matsuoka (88-77=165) in 79th, and freshman Ka'ili Britos (80-87=167) in 80th. Sophomore Erika Lundberg was forced to withdraw from play.
 
Marina Alex (66-71=137) of Vanderbilt and Carlota Ciganda (67-70=137) of Arizona State are tied for first individually at five-under par. Arizona State (273-282=555) leads the team field at 13-under par and will have a seven shot lead going into the final day.
 
The tournament concludes Sunday with the third round.
