PALO ALTO, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team is in 15^th place after the second round of the Stanford Intercollegiate, Saturday, at the Stanford Golf Course. The Rainbow Wahine have carded rounds of 324 and 319 for a 643 total.

 

Currently leading UH is senior Corie Hou who fired a second-round 74 for a 156 total. Hou moved up nine places from the first round to tie for 68^th place.

 

Also competing for the Rainbow Wahine are junior Brittany Bomar (78-81=159) in 75^th, senior Erin Matsuoka (88-77=165) in 79^th, and freshman Ka'ili Britos (80-87=167) in 80^th. Sophomore Erika Lundberg was forced to withdraw from play.

 

Marina Alex (66-71=137) of Vanderbilt and Carlota Ciganda (67-70=137) of Arizona State are tied for first individually at five-under par. Arizona State (273-282=555) leads the team field at 13-under par and will have a seven shot lead going into the final day.

 

The tournament concludes Sunday with the third round.
