Women’s Golf Completes First Round Of Stanford Intercollegiate

Round 1 Results

PALO ALTO, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team shot a 324 in the first round of the Stanford Intercollegiate, Friday, at the Stanford Golf Course. The Rainbow Wahine are currently in 15th place in a field which includes four of the top-10 teams in the nation.
 
Leading UH is junior Brittany Bomar who carded a 78 to tie for 64th place. Two shots back of Bomar is freshman Ka'ili Britos, currently tied for 73rd place.
 
Also competing for the Rainbow Wahine are senior Corie Hou (82/T77th), sophomore Erika Lundberg (84/79th), and senior Erin Matsuoka (88/81st).
 
Currently leading the team standings is No. 3 Arizona State at 11-under par (273). Madison Pressel of Texas is atop the individual standings at six-under par (65), one shot ahead of the competition.
 
The tournament continues Saturday with the second round before concluding Sunday with the final round.
