LA QUINTA, Calif. – The University of Hawai'i men's golf team carded a 321 in the second round of the Prestige at PGA West, Monday, at the TPC Stadium Course. The Warriors remain in 13th place with a 633 two-round total.
Freshman
Alex Chu fired a 76 to lead UH at 11-over par. Chu moved up ten places from the first round to tie for 59
th with a 155 total (79-76). Just four shots back of Chu is freshman
Daniel Koge who is currently tied for 72
nd with a 159 total (79-80).
Also competing for the Warriors are junior
Kamden Brakel (78-82=160/T75th), sophomore
Jared Sawada (77-83=160/T75th), and sophomore #T.J. Kua# (78-85=163/78th).
Defending champion TCU took the lead in the team standings by carding a 285 on the round (289-285=574). Daniel Jennevret of TCU leads individually at eight-under par (69-67=136). Both TCU and Jennevret will have a four-shot lead going into the third round.
The tournament concludes Tuesday morning with the third and final round.
