HONOLULU – The University of Hawai`i Rainbow Warrior basketball team looks to get back on the winning track when it hosts Utah State on Saturday, Jan. 24. Tip-off is 7:05 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center.

The 'Bows (9-9, 1-5 WAC) will face the first-place Aggies (18-1, 6-0 WAC) just two nights after falling to second-place Nevada, 74-63, in Reno. UH's loss at Nevada, coupled with Fresno State's first conference win of the year, dropped the 'Bows to the bottom of the WAC standings with a 1-5 mark. UH looks to snap out of its season-long four-game slide with the help of the WAC's second-leading scorer, junior Roderick Flemings, who is averaging 17.3 ppg on the season. 

UH faces a tall order in Utah State, a squad that is undefeated in WAC play and has won 13 straight games. The Aggies are coming off a 62-58 win Thursday night at San Jose State, a win that also kept them undefeated on the road (7-0) this season. Hawai`i, has won all three meetings between the teams in Honolulu since the Aggies joined the league, including last year's 71-66 win in which UH overcame a 14-point second-half deficit. 

Following its meeting with the Aggies, the 'Bows will head back on the road for a pair of games at Louisiana Tech (Jan. 29) and New Mexico State (Jan. 31).
