Women’s Golf Concludes Heather Farr Memorial in 16th

Final Results

BOULDER, Colo. – The University of Hawai'i women's golf team concluded the Heather Farr Memorial Invitational in 16th place Tuesday at the Omni Interlocken Resort. Junior Corie Hou was UH's top finisher, tying for 16th place individually after firing a final round 77.
 
Hou, who entered the day in a tie for fifth, shot five-over on the round, and finished the tournament at one-over par 217 (71-69-77). Long Beach State's Kay Hoey captured the individual title with a nine-under 207.
 
 Notre Dame held on to its second round lead and took home the team title with a three-round score of 858. The Rainbow Wahine shot rounds of 307-304-313 for a 924 total.
 
Also competing for the Rainbow Wahine were junior Erin Matsuoka (80-75-78=233/T-73rd), senior Carolina Perez (80-81-74=235/T-81st), freshman Kelcie Kawano (76-79-84=239/89th), and freshman Megan Inouye (97-96-85-278/105th).
 
The Rainbow Wahine will next compete in the Price's Give Um Five Invitational, Oct. 13-15, in Las Cruces, N.M.
