Warriors Finish Tucker Invite; Berton Tied For 29th

Final Round Results

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The University of Hawai'i Warrior golf team (301-315-316-932) finished 16th at the William H. Tucker Invitational, Saturday, at the University of New Mexico's Championship Course. The Warriors completed the two-day tournament with a total score of 932.
 
UH's top finisher was junior Robert Berton (69-78-77=224), who was tied for seventh after his first round but finished his final round in a tie for 29th. Freshman #T.J. Kua# (77-77-74=228) was second behind Berton, finishing in a tie for 52nd. The other competing Warriors were sophomore Kamden Brakel (77-80-84=241), who tied for 84th and sophomore Daniel Soglanich (88-80-81=249) and senior Chase Bingham (78-87-84=249), who both tied for 90th.
 
UNLV (-12) won the tournament's team title with its own Eddie Olson sharing the individual title with Colorado's Derek Tolan at five-under-par 211.
 
Up next for the Warriors is the Sycuan Collegiate Invitational, Oct. 20-21, in San Diego, Calif.
