FRESNO, Calif. - The University of Hawai'i women's tennis team fell to No. 17 Fresno State 7-0 on Saturday afternoon at the Wathen Tennis Complex in Fresno, Calif. The loss snaps UH's two-match winning streak.

After posting back-to-back victories at home, the Rainbow Wahine traveled to Fresno to face the top ranked WAC team in the Bulldogs. With the loss UH falls to 2-15, while Fresno State improved to 12-7.

Fresno State swept the doubles point to earn the one point. In singles action, No. 82 Sophie Kobuch lost to No. 21 Anastasia Petukhova 6-4, 6-0. At the No. 3 position, Natasha Zorec had one of the closests matches of the day, falling to Tinesta Rowe, 6-4, 7-6 (5).

UH returns to action Sunday, when it faces No. 37 Saint Mary's. UH will then face Eastern Washington on April 15, and fellow WAC foe, Idaho on April 16.
